    Introducing the Awareness Team

🌟 Introducing our incredible Awareness Team! 🌟

Meet the Anarchist Awareness Alliance (AAA), a non-hierarchical freelance work-collective dedicated to conflict resolution, anti-discrimination, and creating safer spaces. πŸ’ͺ✨

Their mission is clear: to ensure that everyone, especially the most marginalized and stigmatized, feels safe and comfortable to express themselves while respecting others’ space and personhood. With a strong belief in restorative justice and nonviolent conflict resolution, they work tirelessly to make our spaces better for all. 🀝❀️

Let’s give a round of applause to the amazing individuals of the Awareness Team for their dedication and commitment to fostering inclusivity, understanding, and respect. We’re grateful for their invaluable contributions in creating a welcoming and harmonious environment for everyone. πŸ™ŒπŸŒˆ

In this thought-provoking discussion, Turkana and Nsasi will take us on a journey through the formation of ANTI-MASS and the incredible work they do. They will provide valuable insights into the challenges they face as queer artists and activists, navigating a regressive social climate and oppressive legal frameworks. Their stories of resilience, determination, and creativity will inspire us all. πŸŽπŸŒŸπŸ—£οΈ

This panel discussion serves as a platform to amplify the voices of those who are often silenced and marginalized. It is an opportunity to learn, empathize, and take action in support of LGBTQ+ rights and artistic freedom.

Let’s come together to understand the challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community in Uganda and explore ways we can support and stand in solidarity with them.🀝❀️🌈
