This workshop will be most helpful to those who have recently experienced loss of a close person and is dealing with grief. This year, as many of us have experienced unprecedented forms of loss, fluid.vision invites you to join us for an evening of reflection and healing through movement and community as a part of this year’s Tag der Clubkultur.

We welcome you to participate in either one, or both, of the two distinct sessions of the event.

Part 1: Grief and Healing Workshop with Aranja Berkmüller Introducing Aranja Berkmüller, an unconventional death doula and counselor with expertise in grief, psychedelics, kink, and trauma. Drawing on diverse training and heritage, Aranja provides insight into beliefs and traditions surrounding death and loss.

This workshop is particularly supportive for those who have recently lost a loved one and are navigating grief. Through somatic exercises, we will explore the complex nature of grief and loss while learning coping strategies for life’s changes, fostering connection, and honoring remembrance. The workshop will take place in an intimate setting with a small group to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

Part 2: Movement Journey with Alvin Collantes Following a short break, we invite you to a 3-hour movement experience honoring loss and celebrating life. Led by Alvin Collantes, a Filipino-Canadian queer dance artist, movement explorer, choreographer, and Jungian life coach, this journey will guide you through dance, meditation, and connection. Together, we will embrace grief, discover queer joy, and build collective resilience. The evening will culminate in a communal sober rave, celebrating the beauty of being alive, and conclude with a gentle decompression session featuring soft music and space to unwind.

is a queer Berlin-based Barcelona-borned Dj, eager vinyl digger. Every raving experience awakened his senses for a specific sound that is driving, radiant, euphoric and positive, with key melodies. His high music sensitivity to energy and intensity, allows him to construct very driving and fun sets beyond genres and bpms. All to create a healing experience embedded in the continuous act of dancing. He also brings back to the community that gave him so much by curating a queer party series @fairies_party longing for collective liberation of body and soul through soft raving.

Jewel

Jewel, a dynamic artist based in Germany, seamlessly merges electronic sounds with tribal grooves to create an irresistible force on the dance floor. His genre-defying music style captivates audiences, infusing performances with infectious energy. As the founder of Kilowatt, a rising player in Berlin’s music scene, Jewel expertly crafts an immersive sonic experience that leaves fans craving more.

Hanaby

From the mesmerizing landscapes of Deconstructed Club Music to the pulsating rhythms of Jersey Club, Hanaby’s sets propel bodies into an unstoppable frenzy. Embracing the spirit of the Diaspora, she expertly weaves together elements of Gqom, Dancehall, Kuduro, and more, creating a vibrant soundscape that celebrates the tapestry of human culture. But her sonic exploration doesn’t stop there.

VINVAR is a Georgian dj and co-founder of Berlin queer collective fluid.vision. Their vibrant pallete includes fast, groovy and hypnotic techno with shimmers of 90s, acid, trance and tribal sounds. From their lived experience in Tbilisi underground club culture, VINVAR knows the importance of techno and dancing as an act of rebellion.

geza.boi

Fluid.vision resident Geza is a DJ, programmer, and installation artist from Berlin. As a Berlin native, Geza was influenced and inspired by the 2000s rave culture growing up. Along with DJing, he has independent programming projects that are anti-mega tech and anti-establishment, instead focusing on building community run and monitored platforms.

STATEMENT

Dear Community, We have been let down at a moment when Fluidity is needed the most. We are shocked, that our event on queer resistance and alongside raising funds for Internationalist Queer Pride (IQP) was kicked out of KvU at the last minute, even though they knew about the Soli cause from the very beginning. They told us yesterday that they would not allow funds to be raised for IQP because of hollow claims of antisemitism that have been made against IQP, to silence migrant, queer, and BiPoC communities.

We are angry and shocked by the treatment by KvU, their intentional lack of communication, impossible ultimatums, last-minute cancellation, and defamation of us on their social media. Thinking they can exploit us as a token for their pseudo queer-friendly anti-racist politics, patronizing us by trying to strongarm us into adapting our event in their interest. They have used their power and German white privilege to try to make this event not happen. Thereby strategically silencing queer transnational communities, maliciously preventing us from creating a safer space for our marginalized queer community to heal, grieve and educate.

We are extremely sad and frustrated to be put in this situation, this event is especially important for our community as a way to commemorate our beloved collective member Nada, who passed away recently. We want to critique the use of power; we want to show how a white left collective is blind to the struggles of a queer migrant community.

We are sad and angry about the political climate in Berlin right now and see this in a series of cancellations of cultural events even just remotely linked to Palestine. Repression from the government side has already increased drastically, we need to stand together and create safer places for marginalized groups. In this almost impossible time, we have received amazing support from spaces and venues standing in solidarity with us. We will soon announce where the Event will be moved to.

We will not be silenced!

Blumenatrix (he/him) A transvestite hailing from Argentina and now based in Berlin, is a multidisciplinary artist, physician, and educator. His work, rooted in a migrant, decolonial, and Latin American perspective, explores the intersections between healing, identity processes, and artistic expression. With a focus on radical tenderness and political activism, Blumenatrix delves into performance, cyborg desire, and post-pornography. His latest project is Trangels Productions, a podcast that aims to amplify the voices and experiences of trans individuals while fostering community.

Pars Loren – Angel-Passing Pasi (they/them) Is an entity exploring identities -ours, yours and theirs. From creatures to beings, they explore the void, the nothingness, where words dissolve. “angel-passing pasi” -An ethereal angel on a quest to commentating and comprehending the spectrum of existence, transcending binaries and embracing the fluidity of being. Angel-Passing Pasi is coming to hold the world accountable.

Lawunda Richardson (she/her) Is a native of Lakeland FL. They studied classical ballet, modern, tap, jazz and hip hop at Florida Dance Theatre and Harrison School of the Arts. Alongside dancing they choreographed for many of LA’s vibrant nightlife parties including Ostbahnhof, Evita and Kulture Shock. They choreographed contemporary works throughout different dance festivals, music videos, and self produced works. During the pandemic Dominique moved to Berlin where they started performing as a dancer with Sasha Waltz and Guests and reawaken their drag performer, Lawunda Richardson

Lilith the Quing (Lilith) Brace yourself for the enchanting Lilith the Quing, a sweet demon who escaped the confines of the Garden of Eden to challenge the patriarchy and celebrate queerness. With their performance, Lilith invites you to question societal binaries and embrace the forbidden fruit of knowledge. They bring a unique blend of sweetness and rebellion, leaving you captivated by their mesmerizing presence. Let Lilith ignite your curiosity and challenge your perceptions of good and evil

We, IQP and fluid.vision, are inviting you to a meet and greet not only with us, but with everyone else of you who is interested in organizing themselves. We can give valuable information on how to collectively bring ideas to action and we would love to get know other people who are interested in sharing their own ideas on how to fight for queer liberation collectively.

We know that our queer communities are our safest place – in which we can find the power and energy to fight against a queerphobic, homophobic, transphobic, sexist and racist society! That’s why it’s important to us to reach out our hands to everyone who wants to be a part of this fight and to invite you all to come together in the beginning of our party to find time to actually get to know each other.

At the same time organizing ourselves collectively requires a certain level of trust and empathy. This is why there will be the possibility to simply join a space where we can get to know each other and create this bond of community between us, before thinking about the next steps in the collective fight for queer liberation.

We want to kick off the event with a workshop on your rights as a protester at registered demonstrations. (Starts 14:00) 🔥🔥 We have legal information at hand and hope to offer you the best possible preparation to feel empowered and as safe as possible in the fight for queer liberation everywhere! ✊ The past months have been full of police brutality and unlawful treatments of protesters, especially of PoCs, so it is highly important to know your rights and to understand the legal grounds for the police measures. At the same time we want to spread awareness of the repressions some of us are facing more than others in the current political climate. So let’s come together and share knowledge as well as discuss how we can continue to fight and how we should deal with these repressions as a queer international community!

We are heartbroken. We lost our loving friend Nada, our favourite dancer, our sunshine. Nada truly was one of a kind, a radiant soul. He touched so many lives in his time here.

For our upcoming event, we would like to make a dedication to our beloved co-collective founder, such a vital core of our community.

We will co-craft an alter to be presented in the space, to be surrounded by the people that Nada loved, who loved him, in this community we call home. We invite all guests at our event to take some time to connect with the altar to remember and honor Nada.

You are also invited to bring along items to contribute to the alter; in the form of trinkets, photos, flowers, or whatever recalls Nada for you.

Nada was such an inspiration to us all, he fought so hard for the values fluid.vision stands for. His spirit was one of boundless generosity and kindness. We dedicate our work as a collective fighting for queer and marginalized rights, dancing, and creating family in the name of Nada.

This Fluidity is a fundraiser for Internationalist Queer Pride, taking us on the 27th of July to the streets to celebrate our defiant existence, rebellious resistance, and the anti-colonial, anti-racist, and anti-capitalist work we do all year round❤️‍🔥✊

The funds will go to covering the demo costs and all remaining money will be used to cover costs due to police and state repression 1️⃣3️⃣1️⃣2️⃣

For us nightlife is more than a space to express ourselves freely, more than a hedonistic escape into community, it’s an attempt of queer utopia, a space to organize queer resistance, to transition into action to dismantle this capitalist heteronormative racist system. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️

Given the passing of our beloved friend and collective member Nada, we want to also create a space at Fluidity, to commemorate his beautiful soul and come together to find comfort in these rough times. Fluidity was something he was deeply proud of and invested in. We want to keep his fire burning in our hearths by dedicating this event to him as well 💕

Nada’s electric energy was simply contagious. His laughter would light up the room and involuntarily cheer you up. He connected so many people and turned them into friends. And what a privilege it was to be Nadas friend, as he was your biggest cheerleader. He really cared and always made sure to express his appreciation with the warmest words. Nada made you dance in the funniest places. His way of documenting your every (dance) move would sometimes make you lovingly roll your eyes but secretly you were beyond grateful that he captured all these precious times shared. His confidence and assertiveness were a big inspiration to be unapologetically yourself and they will stay inspiring us.

We would like to honor Nada in a way that reflects the love and light he brought into our lives. To support the family as they navigate this difficult time, we created a GoFundMe. Nada gave so much to us all. His spirit was one of boundless generosity and kindness. Now, it is our turn to give back. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference. We also want to say a few words about stigma of sex work in queer spaces and how we can be more aware.

To combat stigma against sex workers, it helps to start looking within, and how we relate to sex workers that are face out, particularly performing for us at an event. Oftentimes sex working performance artists are faced with well meaning comments like ‘I also want to perform like this, away from the male gaze’ Queer spaces are not exempt from this.

Apart from ignoring the background of activism and destigmatization behind the performance, the subtext implies that performing for the so-called ‘male gaze’ is degrading. Most sex workers have a majority cis male clientele, and stigmatizing the client leads to conclusions that bring us dangerous laws like the Nordic model.

Implying that the ‘male gaze’ is so undesirable, eventually implies those that make their living around it are too. Thinking that stripping is the same as an empowering sensual dance at a party, and not wanting to see the nuance around the profession, is a disconnect from the sex working community, who are neither victims nor deities. All of this can be fixed by simply approaching us with respect, curiosity and willingness to learn💗

As a non-profit collectives, we are constantly facing the dilemma of wanting to keep the event as accessible as possible while ensuring fair pay to all the artists we work with!

It is important to us that no one wanting to attend the event will be turned away for lack of funds. We all hold different degrees of privileges and marginalization and we hope to contribute with our event to uplift the margins and create strong structures of resistance and collective healing through solidarity, art & dancing 💃🏽

While marginalization can be invisible, class and class struggle is a form of oppression and marginalization often ignored in Berlins nightlife. We want to highlight that class struggle is one of dominating struggles intertwined and underlying many other forms of marginalization and a direct product of the capitalist system we live in which we fill fight! 🔥✊

Let us present our last DJ for Fluidity on the 1st of September 🔥🔥

RÆZA (he/him) @raeza_xx delivers a complex and textured set with rhythmic, percussive layers and an overall sexy almost cybernetic vibe. His hypnotic rhythm evolves over the course of a performance taking the dancefloor on a journey through deep almost, trippy valleys to love filled, intimate and sexy fields. Masterfully exchanging energy with his audience, RÆZA demonstrates and uses this deep connection with his dancers to deliver an impeccable journey that leaves people wanting more.

RAEZA is a French-Malagasy Artist & queer activist now living in Berlin. Part of electronic music since 2018, he has played at venues including Tresor, Whole Festival, RSO.Berlin, Boiler Room, Spielraum. His international bookings have seen him debut in Paris, Amsterdam, Milan, Vienna and Geneva.

Composed of High Future (she/her) and AN Yunbi (she/her), CLITS (@clits.clits ) duo was born on the stage in 2021. They drew to each other inevitably in understanding their different approaches about music. These two polar-opposites spurred themselves to moving forward together while exploring their own sonic allures in the middle. The duo’s omnivore selections meets in mixing Old School Techno with Trance, Jungle, Progressive and other high energy styles. Exuberant and pulsating is the sound captured in their sets and their lovely inner energy is sure to fill the dancefloor.

Presenting @jpeg.love_ (@jpeg.luv3 )our second DJ for fluidity the 1.9 🔥🥵🥵🔥

jpeg.love (they/them) is a genderqueer Berlin based, multidisciplinary artist and musician. Their sets evoke bass music through energetic genre fluid sets, while their productions appear on a wide spectrum from sensual, erotic to punk and pop, yet stylistically theirs. They’ve been both behind the decks and performed live at prominent clubs such as Berghain, RSO and Fuchs2. The lens through which they understand club culture is community driven, diverse and intersectional, leading them to direct music videos for other artists, and curate the Vocalists only VA „Mercury“, which just got released on Raiders Records.

In the past two years, they’ve evolved their musical compositions into performance art. Recently, they performed their piece ‚furious love‘ as part of the Performance: „Temple of Temptations“ at Britney X Festival in Cologne, and organized their own event showcasing p0rn and skr1ppers performances, „Make U C*M” at Haus Der Statistik. jpeg.love is an artist constantly transforming and traversing the liminal spaces between queer art, performance art and club culture.

Your support through donations totaling in 916€ fills us with such sweet gratitude. With your contributions, we were able to donate this money to queer communities in Uganda!

Thanks to your compassionate contributions, we were able to allocate 458€ to both @hashtagwhatnext and famace, two collectives with the central mission to provide safe community space and resources to queer people in Uganda facing persecution.

Your solidarity as fluid.vision community members not only empowers us here in Berlin, but also provides support to queer communities internationally.

Next we are bringing you the one and only @vera.amores 💋💋💋⁣ ⁣ Vera Amores aka BERENICE is a DJ, music producer and performance artist based in Berlin. She started DJing in the Madrid night scene where she founded, together with JOVENDELAPERLA, the queer electronic music collective CULPA, that celebrates and embraces trans and non binary existences in the night scene, throwing several parties since 2019 in Madrid, Barcelona and Berlin. Her eclectic mixes brim with transfemininity and syncretism, breaking with conventional techno through the use of Latin rhythms and breakbeats, cinematic melodies and heavy contrasts, which had gain her a spot as a resident in the well-known queer party MARICAS. Man*check is a prevention project for gay, bisexual and other men* who have sex with men*. They work according the principles of structure prevention, ie. linking behavioral and situational prevention. Their goal is to maintain and promote the health of queer people. They want to achieve this by providing the target group with information to strengthen individual action competencies and enable informed decisions. 👉+👌

They will be providing condoms, hiv tests (to take home, not to do on site), dental dams, safer sniffing packs and two friendly faces that will talk to you about these topics and more.🍌🔬😊

They’re a freaky duo from Warsaw, Poland. Their style is based on old school stuff so be ready to hear tons of classic vinyl records. They want to bring back to life vinyl djing by delivering lots of grooviest and sexiest beats, mind blowing trance and fancy techno tracks.👅💦😈💋

DJ ANXIOUS is a Young DJ who lives in Warsaw. After actively attending various electronic music events, he slowly began to take interest in techno and trance. A fan of vinyl records and oldschool sound. His sets are filled with fast, rhythmic, sometimes heavy techno and dark, mind blowing trance overtones. Inspired by the early trance era and by the roots of Freetekno.⚡️🕺💃💨

VINVAR is a fluid.vision resident DJ originally from Georgia and now based in Berlin.Their vibrant pallete includes fast and hypnotic techno with shimmers of 90s, acid, trance and tribal sounds. From their lived experience in Tbilisi underground club culture, VINVAR knows the importance of techno and dancing as an act of rebellion. Their sets bring that sense of freedom, energy and intensity to the dance floor.

Primal State is a Berlin based artist from Luxembourg. He originally started as a House DJ, but quickly switched over to Techno as soon as he moved to the German capital in 2017. His sets are usually hypnotic and driving, but depending on the mood & setting, he likes to go into a more playful and trancy direction. Since August he‘s a resident for the label and event series Dessert, which regularly hosts parties at ://about blank.

Leandra Atenea Levine Hidalgo is an Argentinian performance artist, actress, sex worker and public figure. She was on the cover of MarieClaire and many Argentinian magazines, was interviewed on every Argentinian TV channel about trans rights, and toured Croatia with a theater play, filling the National Theater. The installation is a remake of one of her earliest works, when going through the first steps of her gender transition. It consists of a transparent box that represents the isolated but extremely visible place that trans people are put into. The only communication between the spectator and the isolated is through a small opening with a basket of roses in front. When people think they are giving her roses as a compliment, they really are hurting her with the spines, further isolating her from the world. Spines make her hands bleed, empty compliments don’t really help the trans community to be included. The only way she finds relief is by using the blood to paint a canvas that says “Free”, to try to escape the box. But the only place she can find is the street, where Free takes on another significance, and the only inclusion she can find is in the cars that pass by.

@buba__sababa One of Berlin’s most prolific drag kings, the reigning King of Kreuzberg of the 2021 Mx. Kotti drag pageant. As a member of the Venus Boys Collective, he is one of the leaders of Berlin’s Drag King Revolution. He produces shows all over Berlin and has made a name for himself facilitating community workshops for up-and-coming Drag Kings, and letting new King performers take their first steps on his stage at his monthly show „König“ at Tipsy Bear.

Cosmo Terra (@ur_barbie_boy) Drag artist, performer, and member of the Berlin Strippers Collective. He is transmasculine and want to spread awareness about s*x work as a trans man. Cosmo is a femboy drag quing, and he loves to bring elements of str*pping and s*x work into his shows.

@odiseorojo Drag Performer and Writer. As a multidisciplinary artist, a few months ago released her first music EP “Manifiesto Marica Visible” on Spotify. Originally from the North of Argentina, at a very young age she migrated to Buenos Aires, where she studied journalism and began her career as a Performer. In 2019, her first literary novel “Diario de una Marica Mala” (Diary of a Bad Sissy) was published in Argentina, now her second literary novel will be published in Spain.

This event will be our first entirely self-funded event, and we will therefore be asking for a recommended entrance fee of 15€ at the door. This fee will help us cover our costs and allow us to uphold the same standards we had at our previous events. This means ensuring a safe environment and providing our artists and performers with a fair and equal pay.

We understand however that not everyone is able to afford the same amount on parties which is why we will doing this on a sliding scale from 10 to 20 euros! Our goal with this is not to turn a profit, but rather to create a self-sustainable environment where all contributors are compensated fairly!

If money is a concern, and you find yourself rounding corners at the end of the month, just pay 10€, no need to explain 😌

However if you find yourself in a more comfortable situation and/or you would like to support our collective, then please pay 20€. This will not only support our collective, but also allow those with lesser means to attend the event. (And if you’re feeling particularly generous that day, we will also accept a little extra 😉)

fluid.vision resident Geza is a DJ, programmer, and installation artist from Berlin. As a Berlin native, he was influenced and inspired by the 2000s rave culture growing up. Along with DJing, he has independent programming projects that are anti-mega tech and anti-establishment, instead focusing on building community run and monitored platforms. Playing energetic mixes of fast techno and rave, Geza’s sets create a sassy and playful dance-floor.

Announcement Workshop 2: Fantasy Circle

Expressing desires & needs in intimate settings can be very tricky because it makes us vulnerable. Our private sphere (as much as the public sphere) is entrenched with power relations and hierarchies which emphasize and structurally prioritize cis-mal & heteronormative forms of pleasure

As queers and FLINTA* people we are deconstructing and reconfiguring these structures and together we can find ways of expressing and exploring intimacy, sensuality, desires, pleasure etc. etc. as a form of resistance to the cis-heteropatriarchy

So if you do have the right to vote, vote in solidarity with all – people that are not allowed to vote – queer people – people that experience racism – FLINTA* people – people with disabilities – migrants & refugees – people doing care work – those who fight against the climate crisis – those who fight against capitalism

But most importantly vote, because every uncasted vote supports proportionately also the far right!

Queerness must mean engagement in political and societal justice issues, adopting an intersectional lense & taking responsibility to fight for systemic change 😇😇😇😇

ANNOUNCEMENT WORKSHOP 3: Democratic Rights with @marum.welt from @dw_enteignen

Housing Rights are also Queer Rights✊🏽

We are facing a severe housing crisis along with a rise of trans & queer phobic attacks. Is Berlin still welcoming for queer people, migrants and artists? What lies behind the slogan “poor but sexy”, describing a city known for its parties, clubs and affordability? The city is changing and we can actively shape its transformation, making sure it will continue welcoming queers, artists and poor migrants for many generations to come.

Focusing on Deutsche Wohnen & Co. Enteignen (DWE), a movement fighting to socialize a big number of houses in Berlin, we will analyse how the movement has developed over the past months, how it managed to collect a huge amount of signatures, mobilised thousands of participants, and how queers, migrants and artists have played an important role in the movement.

This workshop will give you a first glimpse into the world of drag! In this Workshop we will talk about what drag means to us and give you space to playfully explore gender and build a drag character for the first time! You will learn how to make a quick look with easy to use materials and start to get to know yourself in costume. Be it Creature, Quing, King or Queen, everything between the genders and beyond is our playground! 💅🏽💄👩🏽‍🎤

This workshop is directed at drag beginners and is open to all genders. Everyone is welcome. After the workshop the participants can have a Fashion Show Moment in the Fluidity Drag Show! 👑✨💫

La Papi and Nancy will facilitate a workshop about decolonial gender and allyship that will bring the opportunity to create awareness about our position and the power of our body as a political tool to transform society. The workshop will bring awareness to the body through movement and conscious performativity. There will be historical input to open a discussion about gender as a colonial construct, and to encourage us to decolonize gender in relation to our own experiences. This will give us the opportunity to question how we can recognise our position in society, and take action to make space for the people that it belongs to.
